1. About the platform
This platform connects customers seeking services with independent contractors. It provides service listings, lead access and contractor credit accounts. A purchased lead is an opportunity to contact a customer, not a confirmed booking or a guarantee of work.
2. Accounts and verification
Provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and use only information and documents you are authorised to provide. Contractors must complete the platform's verification process before purchasing leads. Verification indicates an account review; it is not a guarantee of workmanship, qualifications, insurance or suitability for a particular job. Customers should confirm the credentials relevant to their work.
3. Requests and contractor services
Only genuine service requests are permitted. Fake, misleading and unauthorised requests are prohibited. Submit an accurate description and location. Avoid including identity numbers, financial information or sensitive personal details in descriptions. Request summaries and some customer information are visible publicly; contact details are made available through lead purchasing.
Customers decide whether to engage a contractor. Scope, quotations, timing, workmanship, payment for the actual work and any service guarantees must be agreed directly between the customer and contractor. Contractors must comply with laws and licensing requirements applicable to their services.
4. Leads, credits and payments
Contractors can buy the credit packages displayed on the platform. Prices are shown in South African rand and payments are processed through Yoco. Credits are added after payment confirmation and deducted when used to purchase a lead. Review the displayed price, credit cost and availability before confirming a purchase.
Leads may be shared with multiple contractors, subject to the limit displayed for that request. Purchasing access does not guarantee a customer response, an exclusive opportunity or a successful job. Credit balances and transaction history are recorded against the contractor account.
5. Refunds and credit corrections
Email support@leaddistro.co.za with your account email, lead or payment reference, a description of the problem and relevant evidence. Never send card details or passwords. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and provide a decision within ten business days after receiving the information needed. If an investigation takes longer, we will explain the delay.
- Payment and balance errors: confirmed duplicate charges will be refunded. Confirmed missing credits or incorrect deductions will be corrected. A payment that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded rather than retained without supplying the purchased credits.
- Invalid leads: report suspected fake or unauthorised requests, unusable contact details, duplicate requests sold as separate opportunities, or materially incorrect service or location information. We investigate the evidence and restore the credits spent on a confirmed invalid lead. This remedy does not replace a monetary refund where one is required by law.
- Reporting a lead problem: please report it within seven days of purchase where possible. Later reports will still be considered on their merits, and this requested reporting period does not limit statutory rights.
- No guarantee of a job: a customer choosing another contractor, declining a quote or not responding does not by itself prove that a lead is invalid. We do not normally restore credits solely because a genuine opportunity did not result in work.
- Unused packages: as a commercial policy, a wholly unused paid credit package may be refunded if requested within 14 calendar days of purchase. Refunded credits are removed from the account. Promotional credits have no cash refund value. Partly used packages and later requests are reviewed individually, subject to applicable cancellation and refund rights.
- Refund processing: approved monetary refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. We aim to initiate them within five business days of approval, or sooner where law requires. Payment-provider and bank processing times may differ.
These rules do not exclude or shorten any applicable statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer right. Contact support if you disagree with a decision; you may also approach a competent regulator, tribunal or court.
6. Responsible use
Do not submit false information, impersonate another person, manipulate ratings, scrape personal information, share purchased contact details for unrelated purposes, or use the service for spam or unlawful activity. Contractors may use lead information to respond to the particular request and must handle it lawfully. Access may be restricted where misuse, fraud or a security issue requires investigation, subject to applicable rights.
7. Advertising and external websites
Featured adverts link to independent websites. An advertisement is not an endorsement or a guarantee of the advertiser's services. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Disputes and changes
South African law applies, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Raise platform or payment concerns with the operator using the contact details below. Disputes about work performed should also be raised with the contractor concerned. These terms do not prevent you from approaching a competent regulator, tribunal or court.
Updates will be published with a revised date. Changes do not remove rights relating to earlier transactions. Read the Privacy Policy for information about personal information handling.
